It’s true: We don’t really get seasons in Florida. At this point of the year most of the country is experiencing the changing of the leaves, crisp Fall air, cooler nights…makes me jealous. Though we don’t technically get to experience Fall here we do get all the delicious pumpkin treats of the season — I love pumpkin season! Pies, tortes, treats, seeds & most importantly pumpkin spice latte. When October/November hits I become Starbucks’ best customer; starting the morning with a cup of pumpkin spice latte is the way to go. This makes my taste buds happy, my wallet? Not so much, it can get pricey. Lucky for me, Godiva was kind enough to give me some delicious Pumpkin Coffee to try — It’s pumpkin goodness in a bag! I decided to play barista & came up with my own version of Pumpkin Spice Latte, now you too can make it at home.

(In our own, ultimately selfserving opinion :-) But we're here to help! Let's compare.
This is the English translation of the German book published in 1934. The fate of coffee is described from the earliest discoveries of its use, upon which several alternative views are given, including the disastrous observation of the effects of the Abyssinian Kaffa bush upon a herd of goats and its direct revelation to Mohammed by the Angel Gabriel. The various vicissitudes of the commodity in its gradual conquest of the world are described, serving as a background for the most vivid depictment of the social and historical events of the time, upon which the stimulant appears to have had a most conspicuous influence.

There were no foreign entries for the 12-metre class at the 1908 Olympics but the event did have a certain international flavor asCharles MacIver’s Mouchette was crewed exclusively by Englishmen from Merseyside and the crew of Thomas Glen-CoatsHera were all Scotsmen from the Royal Clyde Yacht Club. Rather than take both boats all the way to Cowes, where the rest of the Olympic races were held, it was agreed to hold the 12-metre class races on the River Clyde and thus it became the only Olympic event ever to be held in Scotland. The local entry, Hera, won the first two races of a three-race series and the third race was not contested. Thomas Glen-Coats was the eldest of four sons of Sir Thomas Glen-Coats, Bt. and succeeded to the Baronetcy on the death of his father in 1922. Educated at Eton and Merton College, Oxford, he enjoyed a life of leisure and played no part in the hugely prosperous family business, J&P Coats, Ltd., the spinning merchants. In 1935, at the age of 57, Sir Thomas married Louise Hugon (formerly Mrs JC Newman) of Paris and as there was no issue to the marriage, the Baronetcy died with Sir Thomas in 1954.
Since it's a rather dumb thing to give an angel an actual history, we'll just have to start at the crossroads where Raph and I met. I'm not about to go into detail about it, even though the entire thing would make a horrendously good soap opera. In short, the 'nice young man in a sport coat' image was tossed aside in favor of the 'nice young man in a waistcoat' image. (You've got to remember we're talking centuries ago.¹) Just think of the fashions in 1512. You've got to love 'em. Anyway. To make a long story short, Raphy did something really, really, really stupid over me. (*sniffle* I feel so loved...!) Well, so I did the same really, really, really stupid thing, but I like to think I did it with more finesse. (peace!) Raphy just needed some more skills... that's all. Okay, so maybe the only reason I wasn't killed was because I wasn't an angel! For crying out loud. Yah, he was killed. I think. Not quite sure yet...³ Anyway. Yah. Just... chill until the first 4miko story of mine comes out.
